On 13th August 2025, the Icon Foundation, led by President Mr. Vishal Pawar, in collaboration with the Encrypted Sec Club, conducted a Cybersecurity Awareness Drive at New English School & Junior College, Shrirampur, aimed at equipping students with essential knowledge about online safety, digital ethics, and emerging cyber threats.

The interactive session was delivered by Atharva Pawar (President) and Shruti Sonsale (Red Team Leader), and covered a wide range of topics including:

• Phishing emails and fake websites
• Password security
• Safe social media practices
• Online transaction safety
• General cyber hygiene with practical demonstrations

Focus on Digital Safety for Girls

A special segment focused on girls’ safety in the age of deepfake AI, educating students on recognizing manipulated media, safeguarding personal content, and using reporting tools effectively. The drive encouraged active participation, with students asking questions and applying preventive measures through hands-on activities.

The program was highly appreciated by the school authorities, including Chairman Mr. Ram Tekawade, Treasurer Mr. Janmajay Tekawade, Principal Mr. Dattatray Ghogre, as well as all teachers and staff, who emphasized the importance of digital awareness and praised the initiative. The workshop successfully empowered students to navigate the online world safely, responsibly, and confidently.

The Encrypted SEC Club of Sanjivani K.B.P. Polytechnic, Kopargaon, in collaboration with the Lions Club Shrirampur, successfully conducted a Cybersecurity Awareness Drive at Shri Sharda English Medium School, Kopargaon.

The session was led by Atharva Pawar (President) and Shruti Sonsale (Red Team Leader), along with other Club Members who educated students about the importance of online safety and the growing need for cybersecurity awareness in the digital age.

On 14th August 2025, the Icon Foundation, led by President Mr. Vishal Pawar, in collaboration with the Encrypted Sec Club, conducted a Cybersecurity Awareness Drive at Shriram Academy School (CBSE), Shrirampur.

The session was delivered by Atharva Vishal Pawar (President) and Shruti Sonsale (Red Team Leader), covering key topics such as:

• Protecting personal information and digital identities
• Recognizing phishing attempts and fake websites
• Safe social media habits
• Strong passwords and Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Focus on Safety and Future Careers

A dedicated segment focused on girls’ safety in the age of deepfake AI, teaching students to identify manipulated media and minimize digital footprints. The interactive session included live demonstrations and hands-on exercises.

Atharva also provided guidance on future career paths in technology, explaining foundational skills and certifications for students interested in cybersecurity.

The program was highly appreciated by the school management, including Chairman Mr. Ram Tekawade, Treasurer Mr. Janmajay Tekawade, Principal Ms. Jayshree Potghan, as well as all teachers and staff.

Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop at Somaiya High School

"In collaboration with the Lions Club of Shrirampur, the Encrypted Sec Club of Sanjivani K.B.P. Polytechnic, Kopargaon, organized an interactive workshop to educate students and faculty on online safety, digital fraud prevention, and secure internet practices, empowering young minds to navigate the cyber world responsibly."

Encrypted Sec Club of Sanjivani K.B.P. Polytechnic, Kopargaon, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Shrirampur, conducted a highly impactful Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop at Somaiya High School, Shrirampur.

Key Learnings

Participants were guided on preventive measures including:

• Strong passwords and safe browsing habits

• Secure use of online banking, e-wallets, and UPI platforms
• Role of antivirus and security software

From the Encrypted Sec Club, Atharva Pawar (President), Shruti Sonsale (Red Team Leader), and their dedicated team conducted engaging and practical sessions.

The Lions Club of Shrirampur, represented by President Ln. Rahul Arbatte and former president Ln. Vishal Pawar, provided essential support. By the conclusion of the event, students and staff had gained valuable insights into potential cyber threats and the preventive actions needed to protect themselves.
